Media, legislators find Michael Morton story inspirational

A pair of editorials from the Dallas News and the Austin Statesman on Sunday highlighted how the Michael Morton case and those of other exonerated Texans have galvanized the Legislature's focus on innocence-related legislation, see:
A week ago Morton remarried and Grits wishes the couple all the best. This week, the focus shifts to the trial of the alleged actual killer of Morton's wife Christine. Mark Norwood, whose DNA was discovered on the infamous "bloody bandana," maintains his innocence. The trial is being held in San Angelo because of all the publicity about the case in Austin.
